Our adventure with Bear Grylls first started back in 2006 when he became an ambassador not just for Craghoppers, but for all outdoor enthusiasts with a thirst for adventure.
Bear is known worldwide for his expertise in survival, especially in extreme conditions. That’s why the Craghoppers team was so excited to partner with Bear Grylls again in 2016. We wanted to create an outdoor protective clothing range that would really stand the ultimate test – whatever Bear Grylls put it through!

Throughout our collaboration with Bear Grylls, our design and development team were really put through their paces! We were determined to design and manufacture protective, outdoor clothing that Bear Grylls would be proud to wear, and that would withstand anything that was thrown at it. Extreme heat, freezing temperatures, and rainforest downpours. Whatever Bear Grylls’ clothing went through, we wanted to make sure it would withstand the elements while ensuring comfort, and flexibility. So we got to work…

We designed the ultimate survival trousers. Built-in water and stain repellent. Tough outer with stretch fabric for unrestricted movement. And eight pockets for every gadget you could possibly need to stow away on your next survival adventure.
The Craghoppers-Bear Grylls Jacket
A tough waterproof exterior and a grown-on hood for extra protection. The Bear Grylls jacket featured the distinctive Bear Grylls logo and did notlack in protective features. Windproof, waterproof, and Bear Grylls proof.
The Craghoppers-Bear Grylls Shirt
Featured heavily on Bear Grylls’ The Island, our protective shirt was made with extreme climates in mind. Lightweight, with quick drying properties that wick sweat away, the Bear Grylls shirt was a staple for outdoor adventurers that needed full coverage and practical shade from UV rays.
The Craghoppers-Bear Grylls Kids’ Clothes Collection
With the ever-growing popularity of the Bear Grylls clothing range, the last thing we wanted to do was to leave out young adventurers! So we launched the Bear Grylls kids’ clothing range for little pioneers with a big passion for exploration. Following in Bear’s footsteps, we’ve since collaborated with The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme to encourage young people to get outdoors and find their own passion for adventure.
