So, what’s new to the DofE range for 2024?
Well, Craghoppers is launching its newest, best performing DofE range to date, with new technical styles added to the range; all made with part-recycled materials to create an expedition-ready range that offers excellent performance, whatever the condition.
Every great kit list begins with a versatile base-layer. The Ellie (for women) and Charon (for men) are made with a polyester elastane stretch jersey which gives first-rate freedom of movement. Moisture wicking and 50+ UPF sun protection properties also come as standard.
The Vanth and Ossus Jackets are the newest waterproof additions to the DofE range. With over double (given the Hydrostatic Head count) the waterproofness of their predecessors, these jackets come in a mix of vibrant and muted colourways, cut for men and women. This hardwearing jacket features three roomy pockets and is adjustable to the hood, hem, and cuffs for the perfect fit.
The Tarvos Jacket (for women) Travos (for men) acts as the perfect mid/outer-layer choice when tackling your expedition. Its polyester jacquard fleece helps to trap body heat and keep you warm as you venture into the outdoors.
Designed with a relaxed fit, this fleece has two large pockets to help keep essentials close by. The Tarvos is elasticated at the hood, hem, and cuffs to help trap body heat and keep cold winds out. If a full zip isn’t your thing, the Esk Half Zip offers all the same warming benefits of the Tarvos in a handy half-zip silhouette.
Completing the DofE collection is Craghoppers’ legwear. As a specialist in outdoor legwear, we have crafted a fit for every adventure, and the DofE collection is no different. For example, those who crave an active adventure can look to the Brisk Short (men’s) and Alex Legging (women’s), with active explorers in mind – each style has been designed to maximise freedom of movement.
The Brisk Short comes in a trouser option too, the short’s poly-cotton blend materials offer a good amount of stretch. The trouser offering for women is the Mimas Trouser and is made from polyamide elastane for added stretch to help you go the extra mile. Both styles feature heel tape to prevent snagging on footwear and come packed with roomy cargo pockets for storage, and offer UPF 50+ sun protection.
